Keeping it Costa…

I have had the chance to talk with a few folks from our trip. I keep hearing a common thread or theme running through these conversations. I’m not sure if I would label it concern or fear or worry, but there it is in many of these interactions…and honestly within me as well. 

I get the sense that we are all keenly aware that we experienced something powerful in Costa. I think many of us saw things that we haven’t even known that we have been waiting to see for a long time. I think that many of us saw some changes within us personally that we liked (more patient, less stressed, more effective, more hopeful, more connected). I think I am hearing that many of us know that these changes can very easily change right back to a pre-trip way of life. And it is here that we are worried or concerned or maybe even afraid. Like prayers we keep chanting: “Keep it Costa, Tico-time, Linger longer.” 

So the question is how? Who are you talking to? What are you talking about? What steps do we take together to help one another continue to walk forward from this trip?
